Whoever heard of Gauchers disease? The vast majority of people probably haven’t. Yet Cody has it. A genetic liver disorder, uncurable, it affects only some 10,000 people world-wide. And Cody has it. It requires infusions every two weeks for the rest of his life, but brace yourself – his infusions alone currently cost over $8,218 per treatment. Yes, believe it or not, that comes to over $213,668 per year. When all related care expenses are added in the total exceeds one quarter of a million dollars. Have we got your attention? We need your help and financial support. Insurance will not cover his treatments and care for very much longer.
